The body of the actor is for me a scenic space in motion that comes to convoke the author, the text, the characters. It convoke also a space time, that reproduces evening after night without ever being a reproduction. For, as Valere Novarina puts it, the text is food for the actor in which the latter, not only with his voice, but also with his whole body, has a duty to wake-up "this old printed corpse" and to make that each day, the character re-emerge as the first day.
A text is alive only because it is read, said, shouted, howled, chewed, and recast in every corner of the body.
A text is alive only because at a given moment It will make sense and hit where it is least expected.
